SRINIVASAMURTHY TO HC

The pride of Kannada cinema actor Srinivasamurthy who is facing strictures from the session court verdict of imprisonment on Friday has decided to go to the High Court. The case is related to the forgery happened in 1987.

The session court on Friday upheld the case but actor Srinivasamurthy has decided to approach the High Court to get proper justice. He spoke to this correspondent from Mysore where he was shooting for a Kannada film.

NAGABHARANA BACKTRACK COLLEAGUES DISAPPOINTED!

In the page No.14 of the report in English version the column 6.13 says ‘blanket ban on dubbing should be lifted in Karnataka’. The Kannada film industry is now standing on its own feet and is in a position to withstand the impact of lifting the ban on dubbing of non Kannada films to Kannada. This lifting the ban will help quality to compete against other language films and a new industry related to dubbing activities would come up. A few experts felt that lifting the ban on dubbing will also benefit the TV viewers in Karnataka. This creates employment says the Kannada film industry – A survey report.

The Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy Chairman T.S.Nagabharana has withdrawn the survey report of Kannada Film Industry which he released on the 1st year celebration of KCA on last Monday at Badami House.

Every drop of hat Kannada Film Industry is calling for Bundh. The other day it was against the radio channel and now against the violators of rules and regulations.

In common sense the violators are punished but in this case punishment is taken. What happened to Kannada Film Industry – these are the statements we hear from other language people.

They are true to some extent. What is needed is the strict punishment. Agreed! But why take punishment we are left to ask for Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce people.

The people of Kannada Nadu are soft and sensible. If non Kannada film makers do not budge we will strike at them and use the violent stand says MS Ramesh President of Directors Association.

20 KFCC MEMBERS RESIGN

On the decision taken by KFCC President Basanthkuamr Patil that indefinite bundh will be called from December 1st the 20 members strongly protested it and resigned from their positions late on Thursday night.

RS.628 CRORES ASSETS MADE BY PIRACY OPERATORS!

After six months of rigorous search the team of Lahari Recording company finally arrived at a figure that the piracy operators in Bangalore are with assets worth Rs.628 crores.
